Blue Dolphin Finger Vibe Review
Make Friends with the Blue Dolphin Finger Vibrator. The packaging that it comes in is great. The instructions are easily accessible, along with the warranty, and there’s even 2 little pouches of lube and toy cleaner to get you started. But, I have to admit that me and this vibe had a love/hate relationship from the start. It was my first finger vibrator that I’d gotten in years, but something about it just rubbed me wrong from the get go (no pun intended). Part of it probably had to do with the cutesy little blue dolphin attachment. I have issues with vibrators, and the companies that make them, that insist on putting animals on their products, namely because it makes me feel like I’m engaging in zoophilia on some level. And while I am kinky, that’s just one of those lines I’m not interested in crossing.
I guess my other issue had to be with the design. The finger loop is located on the gel dolphin attachment, so the only way you use the item with one finger is if the attachment is on. And now we’re back at my first complaint. Also add to it that the attachment actually deadens the vibration, which wouldn’t be a problem if the item had amazing vibe power to begin with, but it doesn’t, so you’re left with something that might vibrate less than your cellphone.

So I removed the attachment, but the thing is designed like a bullet--thus making it incredibly fun to hold on to--but isn’t intended for insertion because of the seem for the battery compartment. Speaking of batteries, this item runs on “N’s”. Yeah, you heard me right. I’ve never heard of an “N” battery before in my life, but apparently they’re great if you don’t want to use your vibe much as after about a week’s worth of use, it’s zapped.
However, the worst offense I’ve found concerning this vibe has probably got to be the “off/on” switch. Why? It’s a turn switch, much like you’d use with pocket flashlights. Which sounds great, but the flashlight you use is more than likely metal, and this vibe is plastic with a thin metal contact strip. So if you turn too many times, or turn too roughly, you suffer the chance of damaging or breaking the contact strips, thus rendering the vibe to a life as rather colorful paper weight that’s guaranteed leave all your household guest’s perplexed.

Conclusion:
- Pros: Smooth & Clear Plastic, Easy to Remove Battery, Non-Girlie Color, Lube and Cleaner Included.
- Cons: Design Style, Low Vibration, Odd Battery Type (N?), Horrible Battery Life, Easy to Break “Off/On” Switch.
- Bottom Line: This might be something fun to gift a friend, but I wouldn't rely on this one to get you through the weekend.
